Highway crash flips car onto roof

A collision between two cars on the Te Puke Highway has left one vehicle upside down on its roof this evening.

The crash occurred at around 5.30pm, near the Rangiuru meat processing plant.

A police spokesperson says the occupants of both vehicles are now out and ‘walking around'.

“Ambulance staff are attending to one person with moderate injuries.”

Traffic in the area is described as ‘heavy', but no lanes are believed to be blocked.
