A truck full of fish on fire on State Highway 2, Katikati, was extinguished by Katikati volunteer fire fighters early today.
The Fire Service's Northern Communications Centre reports the fire was well involved by the time fire fighters arrived on the scene.
The fire in the cab of the truck was extinguished and the truck towed.
The call to the emergency was at 12.47am.
