Two people have been stabbed in Papakura in what police Senior Sergeant Danny Hodson says is a domestic related incident.
Police were advised by St John Ambulance just after 4pm that a man and woman had been stabbed. The man received a stab wound to the abdomen and is in a serious condition. A female also received moderate injuries. Both have been taken to Middlemore Hospital.
An alleged offender fled the scene but has since been arrested in the Manurewa area by police. No further information is available at this time.
