Trucks need to slow down

Without knowing specifically what caused this accident, trucks often in my experience drive this section of road far too fast and leave themselves little room for error.

Too quick for the conditions

Thought I heard someone say this truck was in a bit of a hurry going through the shortcut/bypass in Waihi. Mmmmmm should have slowed down.

Around 35 years experience. Would have to be over the 1.5 million k's and done the K Gorge for 12 years just on one job alone. Too many hot heads in all types of vehicles. Not all, but so many people just have to be up front at any cost and usually to no avail.
