A male and female from Motueka have been airlifted to hospital after their rally car lost control this morning between Riwaka and Sandy Bay.
A 43-year-old male and 42-year-old female were transported to Nelson Hospital by the Nelson Marlborough Rescue Helicopter with moderate chest and neck injuries.

Christchurch Police have formally charged two men with murder in relation to the death of Terrance Martin Smith.
Mr Smith, aged 55, of Christchurch, died on May 8 after receiving severe burns in an incident at a Woolston address on Anzac Day, April 25.
