Murry is the current president of the Photographic Society of New Zealand and holds a Fellowship from the Nature Photography Society of New Zealand.

He has a particular interest in documenting the behaviour, ecology and habitats of New Zealand's wildlife as well as in Asia.

The photographer is currently working on a project documenting the primates of Asia and has recently completed an in-depth study into the life cycle of New Zealand White Heron or Kotuku.

Murry's talk is taking place at the same time as the 50th Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition, which comes from the Natural History Museum in London.

It features more than 100 images of wildlife and nature, and Tauranga is the only New Zealand venue for this exhibition.

A Talk by Nature Photographer Murry Cave takes place at the Tauranga Art Gallery from 5pm-6pm. Tickets cost $10 and are available on the door (if available) or by calling the Gallery on 578 7933.
