Police are now able to release the name of the man who died at the Waipuna Rd boat ramp on Saturday.
The victim was Mr Sililo Seiuli, aged 55 years old of Mt Wellington.
Victim Support has been offered to Mr Seiuli's family.
Enquiries into the circumstances of the incident, including how the boat capsized are ongoing.
