Trademe fundraiser for James

People have a little less than 24 hours to bid on a painting and help change a little boy's life.

Papamoa five-year-old James Reid was born with spastic quadriplegia cerebral Palsy, epilepsy and hydrocephalus – or water on the brain.

James Reid, pictured with his father Don, has spastic quadriplegia cerebral palsy.

It means James is unable to crawl, or stand without support – and can only take assisted steps with great difficulty. Read more about James here.

He needs $150k for life changing treatment in USA.

A Trademe auction for a limited edition fine art print, matted and framed has so far manhed to raise $200.

The print was taken by photographer Rachael Smith.

The auction, which can be viewed here, will run until 9.30pm tomorrow.

Donations to Team James can be made at http://givealittle.co.nz/cause/teamjames
