Police seek takeaway robbers

Te Puke Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man believed to be connected to a robbery in Te Puke that left a man with a fractured hand and dental injuries.

According to police, the man, plus two others, robbed a premises on Jellicoe Street, Te Puke at around 9pm on Tuesday, February 17.


The incident happened on February 17 in Te Puke.

This video footage of the man, supplied by police, is from a nearby store captured just prior to the incident.

The victim suffered a fractured hand and a broken tooth and requires ongoing medical treatment.

The three men stole a bottle of wine and some takeaway food from him before driving off towards Tauranga in a dark-coloured vehicle.
