Manawatu Police have now charged the 40-year-old Horowhenua man who assaulted an officer in the Foxton Township yesterday (2 March, 2015).
He has been charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, failing to stop for police, and aggravated assault.
The man will appear in the Palmerston North District Court today.
