What’s on Today? Santa Parade

Today is a day to slip on the sunscreen, slap on some hats and head down to the Tauranga CBD for the Trustpower Christmas Parade.

Santa and his elves are making a stop in sunny Tauranga to let the children know they are keeping on eye on them, so they better be good.

The jolly man in the red suit will roll through the CBD as part of the Trustpower Christmas Parade.

The man in the jolly red suit will join 50 other floats in this year's parade which is due to roll through the CBD at 11am.

Downtown Tauranga's parade organiser Rowena Kelly says the parade will start at 2nd Ave, down Devonport Road, onto The Strand and finish at Harrington Street.

'We have 57 floats registered, including a variety of floats, groups and entertainment with lots of colour and energy. It will be great,” says Rowena.
