Emergency services are dealing with a single car crash on Maunganui Road this lunchtime.
A BMW has crashed into a power pole, at the intersection of Tay Street.
The driver has been assessed by St John Paramedics and taken to Tauranga Hospital.
There are no reports of outages in the area and it's understood the pole sustained moderate damage.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
