iPhone 6 thief caught red handed

A Tauranga courier driver is enlisting the help of the community to help identify the person who stole his iPhone 6 on November 4.

The New Zealand Couriers' driver was delivering a package to a business in Te Puke when a man snatched the phone from the dashboard of the van.

This man was caught on camera stealing a courier driver's iPhone 6.

The offender has been caught red handed on the van's video surveillance which has since been released on YouTube in the hope of identifying the culprit.

The video of the theft was put on YouTube on November 7 and has so far had 103 views.

'At 56 seconds on the video you see the thief walk up to the vehicle, open the driver's door and his hand is reflected in the windscreen as he snatches my phone from the dashboard,” says a caption below the video.

People with information about the theft, or who can identify the thief, are asked to contact Tauranga Police Station on: 577 4300.

see the thieving b****** check the couriers van out at 34 seconds into the clip....just a casual 2 second look..... With a picture like that you would think the Police would have no trouble finding him, and probably solve a bunch of crime...Full sleeve tattoo....so many clues.
