Concerns for missing Mount man

Police are appealing for information into the whereabouts of a Mount Maunganui man missing since Saturday.

Stephen Michael Tracey was last seen by family in Mount Maunganui about 5pm on Saturday.

The 37-year-old at the time told family he was going for a walk and would be returning in about an hour.

He has not been seen since and it has been established that he did not take his wallet or phone with him, which is out of character.

Stephen has not been in contact with his family since leaving on Saturday afternoon.

He is described as medium build and about six feet tall. He was last seen wearing a t-shirt, shorts and sandals.

Anyone with any information are to contact Tauranga Police on 07 577 4300.
