Frank's back. The 6.5kg Flemish giant rabbit has arrived home in Otumoetai after three weeks of custody confusion, and his fretting owner Lauren Coleman is relieved and delighted.

'He's still a bit unsettled and panicky after travelling across the Kaimai Ranges. But he's in good nick and he will be fine,” says Lauren.

This week Frank is bob-tailing around Lauren's lounge on the end of a new lead. He's back with Lauren after ownership confusion and a resulting Trade Me auction saw him whisked across the ranges to a new home at young peoples' respite centre in Rotorua.

'I never really gave up hope. And I am so grateful to SunLive for helping track Frank down and get back.”

Three weeks and a 120km round-trip later, Frank with the very floppy ears is home, relaxed and happy.
