Nigel Latta is heading to Tauranga

He's arguably the hottest property on New Zealand television. And he's not a just a pretty face that parrots lines from the autocue.

This A-list celeb is actually a clinical psychologist, an author, and small-screen personality rolled into one.

Nigel Latta is heading to Tauranga this month on October 28.

He is the multi-faceted Nigel Latta and his roadshow is headed to Tauranga.

He will be offering more of his candid expert observations under the banner 'The Modern Family Survival Guide” at the Bethlehem Baptist Church on Tuesday October 28 at 7.30.

And in his inimitable way, Latta explains that just because the issues are complex, it doesn't mean that the solutions have to be.

'More and more of us are living in blended families and we are also facing new issues like technologically dependent teenagers, a tidal wave of alcohol and drugs and a whole pile of other issues our parents didn't even have to consider.”

So when he comes to Tauranga Nigel will offer up some evidence based opinion and some commonsense.

Latta first appeared on our screens in ‘Beyond the Darklands' when he got inside the minds of some of our worst criminals. Then he followed with a series of politically incorrect programmes where he offered up his thoughts on parenting and teenagers.

It was funny and informative.

Then the latest series where he examined New Zealanders and their attitudes to issues like alcohol and education – issues which Latta says we should all be thinking about.

People liked his style and simplicity. The expert with the boyish charm appeared to relate to their problems and they embraced him. That popularity is probably measured in the fact that moments after the box office opened, more than a hundred tickets for the Tauranga event were snatched up.

However there are still 500 $30 tickets available and $25 earlybird tickets are available for another week.

Latta is being brought to BOP by the Welcome Bay Community Charitable Trust, Christian Charity which targets poverty, sickness, hardship and grief. Of course the Trust is keen to sell out the Baptists hall for the event and with a star act like Nigel Latta, that should happen.
