Issues affecting web browsing is seeing Spark customers take to social media to voice their complaints.
Spark confirmed this morning that there is an issue which is causing some customers to experience problems.
Spark customers are experiencing issues with web browsing this morning.
A post on its website says contractors are working on the issue and hope to have the service back up and running as soon as possible.
No information is available as to how the long it will take to fix the problem.

...can experience problems. (especially when they are all using each others networks under the covers and have all kinds of secret deals which their customers don't know about). But the chances of problems are greater when there are more connections, so, if you REALLY need excellent service go with smaller providers. There is at least one Tauranga based provider who consistently provides outstanding service. I use them and have not experienced the problems noted for Spark customers.

we were told on the phone, when enquiring what the problem was, that they "were updating programs from Telecom to Spark, and something wasn't compatible in the changeover, and they were trying to sort this out..." - That was about 9.30 am this morning..... And later we saw the news report blaming it on "viruses in in some Spark customer's computers" - and laughed ourselves silly.....

Have tried phoning telecom but don't answer phone. Don't know if it is the national problem Or my own line as they were meant to fix it on wednesday

which happens to be a programme from overseas....a virus started in numerous computers then spreading.... seems to be ok this morning thou!!
