What was the warrant issued for? Was the offense so serious as to warrant the police to go out in mass armed to the teeth seeking to murder them. No doubt had they killed anyone PC would as a matter of course been absolved of blame and no one losing there jobs. Media here obviously haven't studied how Nazi and then Stazi got underway and thus cannot see the EVIL trend rapidly happening here in NZ. Maori who are the usual targets need to arm themselves as though in a state of war simply because of the 178 year track record or continued prolonged attack by the Royal British Armed Militia aka NZ Police State. Eventually Police as they always do will seek to provoke a Civil War in this small country and if not that an open concentration camp type set up like they have NOW. Premption isnewDEMON

What a load of rubbish 'Wisechief'!. It costs a lot of resources to put in place a search like the one in this article, so i'd say yes, it was serious. If people break the law then they need to be accountable no matter what colour/culture/race or what ever else they want to blame their actions on. How can you liken the prison system we have to concentration camps from the past?! You have clearly not studied the effects and actions of Hitler and the abuse at the concentration camps. It is posts and words like yours that feed the unnecessary separation in this country. It didn't mention the offender was Maori at all - you have assumed that. Shame on you.
