Croucher Brewing scoops medals

Croucher Brewing Co has scooped gold, silver and bronze at the New Zealand annual beer competition BrewNZ.

The Bay of Plenty brewery received a gold medal for its St.Ella [India Pale Ale], silver for its Pilsner, silver for its pale ale, silver for its lowrider, silver for its patriot and bronze for its ANZUS IPA.

Croucher Co has scooped numerous awards at the latest craft beer competition.

The latest achievement is the latest in a long string of accolades for the brewing company, which has been brewing in the Bay of Plenty for 10 years.

Co-owner and brewer Paul Croucher says it's a wonderful time to have their beers recognised by the judges in 'this very competitive competition”.

'We were hopeful of a good result as we are really happy with the quality and flavours of our beers.

'The brewery has been under immense pressure this year to meet demand while also preparing to shift the brewery premises, which as of this week has commenced in earnest.”

Croucher Brewing has recently opened their own Brew craft beer pubs on East Street in Rotorua and on The Strand in Tauranga.

The Croucher Brewing Co wasn't the only Bay of Plenty brewery to have success at BrewNZ 2014, with Aotearoa Breweries from Kawerau, Fitzpatrick's Brewing Co from Pyes Pa, and Mount Brewing Co from Mt Maunganui also taking home medals.
