Winston Peters in town today

NZ First leader Winston Peters is making another pre-election push in Tauranga City with two public meetings organised today.

The NZ First leader will be accompanied by Tauranga NZ First candidate and Tauranga City Councillor Clayton Mitchell for the day-long visit.

Winston Peters is in town today.

At 10.30am Winston will speak at an open meeting at Bob Owens Retirement Village, for village residents and public.

Discussions include the recent Route K debt removal, and Nicky Hager's ‘Dirty Politics' book.

At midday he will hold a town meeting at Mount Maunganui's Phoenix car park.

New poll results released today show NZ First polls just under the 5 per cent threshold at 4.3 per cent, dipping from 4.6 in June, and would not be returned to Parliament on this result.

renew his employment contract. He and his unknown cohort have eventually come out of hibernation, maybe this is to cater to the attention span of their supporters. I have spoken to a number of Winston first supporters and have not found one who can really explain why they like Winston, maybe it is that he is still a good looking fella at nearly 70 years of age and can wow the oldies with a cheeky smile. Looking forward to the launch of the National party election campaign as I'm sure there will be plenty to laugh about there too, if only the media will get onto policy talk instead of this nonsense in a book. I am sure that ALL political parties are involved in activities that would attract condemnation if they were revealed and sensationalized the same way. Politics is a vicious environment and extremely adversarial.

Why do we like Winston ... hmm a major reason is he's the one that took the Tauranga tolls away! Media are digging deeper into the jagger book and revealing more as time goes on, good on them! Go Winnie I know you will fight for Tauranga !

Better than Bob the Builder or Simple Simon

Why do we like Winston? Because he did more for this city than his two successors combined. I encourage everyone to actually read the NZ First manifesto, it is really about putting NZ first, not Winston

Sorry bayboi
