Cricketing great leads coaches

Some of the best cricket brains in Northern Districts Cricket, are coming together in the Western Bay of Plenty to deliver a free Art of Coaching evening.

The evening on August 28 is part of the first ND Roadshow visit to the Bay of Plenty this season.

Former Black Cap cricketer Lance Cairns.

Delivering the pace bowling session will be legendary Black Cap all-rounder Lance Cairns.

Whether wielding his Excalibur bat in devastating fashion or terrorising the opposition batsman with his pace bowling, Lance thrilled his legion of fans whenever he was in action.

Complementing Lance Cairns will be the full firepower of the ND coaching team.

Northern Spirit coach Mark Coles and Northern Knights head coach James Pamment (if available) who is putting the finishing touches on the Knights preparations for the Champions League in India, should provide a fascinating insight into first class cricket.

The spin bowling section will be delivered by Cliff Dickenson who still holds the ND first class wicket taking record. Two further ND personal are ND Junior HP Coordinator Peter Zanoterra long-time ND Operations Manager Pat Malcolm.

The Art of Coaching seminar is free to any cricket coach or aspiring coach, no matter what their level of coaching or experience.

This is an excellent opportunity to pick the brains of some of the most knowledgeable and respected coaches in Northern Districts.
