Motorists are being urged to drive with care following reports of snow and ice on the lower Kaimai Ranges.

The New Zealand Transport Agency this morning issued a road hazard along State Highway 29 from Tauranga to Te Poi due to snow and ice on the road.
Those travelling over the Kaimai Ranges are asked to drive with care and to the winter driving conditions.
