I think the Weetbix Box is now firmly shut. This generation now faces a tough licencing process, unlike previous generations. Of course when I got my licence it was because I was a fully competent driver unlike all the rest of you guys. :o)

This driver was not at fault in any way as police said so to the two people above how can you write stuff like that. This person was so close to losing there life. Was very very lucky.

I agree there are some people who really shouldn't be on the road and can be a menace to themselves and others, however since we don't know any details of why the car was in the ditch and the para's were there, leads me to think it is possible there was health issues involved, rather than poor driving.... It could have been texting and driving, or even fog or another driver on the wrong side of the road, so with no information in the story, jumping to the conclusion it was caused by someone who doesn't deserve a license is a bit premature. I am glad the people are getting sorted by the paramedics and hopefully they will be ok. All the best to them
