Fashion and art students will be putting the creations out in the public as part of the Global Connexions Bay of Plenty Secondary Schools Fashion and Art Competition.
The competition is now in its 11th year and was originally conceived by local textile technology teachers to give students a real situation for their designs.
Fashion and art creations will be the highlight of tonight's show at Baycourt. File photo.
'Over the years the standard of workmanship and originality has gone from strength to strength and students have achieved amazing results,” say organisers.
'Some of whom have pursued their passion at fashion school and are now working in the industry.”
This year the show will be held on at Baycourt, Tauranga, from 6.30pm to 10pm.
Tickets will be sold at Baycourt.
