Former Prime Minister and University of Waikato Chancellor Jim Bolger has been confirmed as the guest speaker for TECT's AGM this week.

TECT Trustees are inviting consumers to hear about the activities of TECT in the last 12 months at the AGM on Thursday.

Former Prime Minister jim Bolger will speak at TECT's AGM this Thursday.

A total of $33.5 million was distributed to consumers and community organisations during the year.

Last week TECT announced it would provide up to $15 million of funding to expand Tertiary Education in Tauranga.

Jim Bolger will speak about the importance of TECT's decision to contribute to the expansion of Tertiary Education and the likely benefits to the Tauranga community.
