Police are investigating a two car crash on State Highway 2, near Papamoa, which caused one lane to be blocked for a short time this afternoon.
A red Toyota Rav 4 and a silver Nissan Tida collided at the intersection of SH2 and Bell Road, just before 2pm.
A silver Nissan Tida had to be towed from the crash seen.
Senior Sergeant Eddie Lyttle says the crash was initially reported to be blocking one lane, but this is no longer the case.
'Ambulance staff attended the crash, but there were no injuries.”
The Nissan Tida suffered damage to the driver's door and both vehicles were towed from the scene.
Police are still investigating the cause.

Learn how to MERGE LIKE A ZIP, and slow down when you see vehicles merging, NOT SPEED UP, How many accidents happen in that stretch of 1km road?? DRIVERS be PATIENT or get out and walk.
