Police are asking for information from the public about a man they believe is actively evading them.

Jeremia Reti, 19, is wanted for breaching bail conditions associated with assault charges.

Police say he has links to the Mangakino, Rotorua, Gisborne and Te Aroha areas.

He is described as a male Maori, of medium build and about 182cm tall.

'He has a large M.D.S tattoo across his chest as well tattoos on his inner left arm and outer right arm,” says a statement from police.

'He should not be approached and any sightings should be reported to police.”

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Jeremia Reti are asked to contact their local police station.
