Water patrol to premiere

A new television series featuring the work of Bay of Plenty police will premiere on screens tomorrow night.

Water Patrol follows the work of maritime units, police divers and other police staff working on New Zealand's waterways.

Water Patrol will premiere tomorrow night on TV One.

BOP Police say the camera crew spent a number of weeks filming in the Bay of Plenty and during that time some water tragedies occurred.

The series, developed by the producers of Police Ten 7, is set to give an insight into the work involved as well as sharing some important water safety messages.

The series will air at 8pm on TV One on Tuesdays from April 22.

Our BOP Police are so often taken for granted by the public at large- will be an eyeopener for some to have a watch of this no doubt. We are very well served by our BOYS & LADIES IN BLUE
