What's onToday? Easter fun

Good morning Sunners and happy Easter.

There is plenty of Easter fun happening around the city today.

Easter fun is being dug up at Grower Direct today with ‘The Great Easter Egg Hunt' sending children and their families scrambling around the nursery in search of 500 hidden treats.

The Great Easter Egg Hunt is at Grower Direct in Te Puna today from 10am to 2pm. There will also be a sausage sizzle.

Meanwhile, a 15 metre by eight metre blow up obstacle course is one of many attractions expected to draw in big crowds to Coronation Park in Mount Maunganui, for Easter in the Park today.

Hosted by Mount Mosaic church, Easter in the Park invites children to run through a bouncy obstacle course, which joins an extended number of bouncy castles and children-specific activities, including hula hoop competitions and face painting.

There are also acoustic local bands, games, rides, and plenty of food and drink.

Easter in the Park will be held in Coronation Park in Mount Maunganui today from 10am-1pm.
