Among the 3500 people attending the Mount Maunganui dawn service for ANZAC Day was Tauranga MP Simon Bridges.
Accompanied by his wife Natalie, Simon was wearing for the first time the medals won by his grandfather in World War One.


Tauranga MP Simon Bridges attended the Mount Maunganui ANZAC Day service and in a video interview below explains what the day means to him.

Simon was very proud to wear these medals and enjoyed taking the time to commemorate what his grandfather and all other veterans have done for their country.
