The American national found dead after a vehicle crash on a Coromandel farm is 21-year-old Jeffery Robert Frum from Newport Beach in California.
Jeffery’s body was found underneath an overturned Kubota RTV on a private rural driveway in Hahei on Friday morning.
Sergeant Andrew Morrison of the Whitianga Police says the man’s body was found by the couple the young man was staying with.
"Department of Labour investigators have attended the scene and there are not considered to be any suspicious circumstances associated with Mr Frum’s death, which has been reported to the Coroner," says Andrew.
As Jeffery Frum died on private property, the fatality is not considered a road death.
