Waikato/Bay of Plenty Magic is set to take on the Northern Mystics in the all-or-nothing ANZ Championship netball preliminary final at Auckland’s Trusts Stadium tonight.
After winning last week’s fixture against Adelaide Thunderbirds by one point in Hamilton, the Magic are preparing for another showdown, which will see the winner face the Melbourne Vixens in the grand final.

Magic in their game against the Queensland Firebirds 53 – 43.
Aiming for their 11th straight victory, Magic coach Noeline Taurua expects a similar challenging match against the Mystics tonight.
“They’ll throw anything and everything at us.’’
“There’s no room for error now; it’s just you either win or you don’t.
“Whether it’s desperation, the will or whatever, it’s going to come out on court and it will be pretty much the same as what we received in the Thunderbirds match.’’
The Magic lost 41-47 to the Mystics in their second round meet in April.
The Round 15 preliminary final in Auckland starts at 7.40pm.
