Greerton lights up the night

Around 300 people lined the streets of Greerton as the village square was transformed into a vibrant display of light forms, celebrating artistic talents in and around the community.

The Greerton Village Square was filled with music and entertainment last night.

Fire performers from Hamilton included fire breathers, fire jugglers and fire poi.

Greerton Mainstreet manager Victoria Thomas says Tauranga Samba performed Brazilian percussion.

Kids enjoyed getting their face painted and static lanterns were on display along with a UV light dance party and a magical fairy light tunnel.
