Police are investigating an incident of a sexual nature involving two drunk teenagers at a Brookfield playground.
Police were called to the reserve off Te Koari Drive at about 2pm on Wednesday following a call from a concerned member of the public.

When police arrived one of the 15-year-old boys was comatose and St John Ambulance paramedics were called, and transported the boy to Tauranga Hospital.
Another 15-year-old boy was taken into police custody.
Inspector Karl Wright St-Clair says police are investigating a report of an incident of a sexual nature between two youths who are known to each other.
He says police are not looking for anyone in relation to the incident and there is no cause for public concern.
“We are still looking to establish if there have been any offences committed, but there are no public safety concerns and the police do not need any assistance from the public at this stage.
The park was closed off while police investigated.
Bay of Plenty District Health Board communications manager Diana Marriot says the teen was treated and discharged at 8pm.

i know who it was and the person who did it is sorry as hell and is most likely going to live with that for the rest of his life, he lost his best mate who he knew since he was little. it will get sorted out though
