Police guard Brookfield playground

Police have closed off a playground in Te Koari Drive in Brookfield this afternoon.

Inspector Karl Wright St-Clair says police are investigating a report of an incident of a sexual nature between two youths who are known to each other.

 
Police have closed off a playground in Brookfield while they investigate an incident involving two youths.

He says police are not looking for anyone in relation to the incident and there is no cause for public concern.

“The area has been taped off as a precaution while police look to establish the circumstance and whether any offence has been committed.”
