A Papamoa man has avoided prison after pleading guilty to child pornography charges.
Cameron Mark Dunn, 35, was sentenced to 11 months home detention and 160 hours of community service when he appeared in Tauranga District Court on Tuesday.

Dunn previously pleaded guilty to 20 charges relating to possession and distribution of objectionable publications.
The charges relate to a Department of Internal Affairs investigation in 2010, where an officer searched Facebook for illegal use of objectionable material, particularly child sex abuse images.
Inquiries on one person’s profile led investigators to Dunn’s address in Papamoa, where his computer and other electronic devices were seized.
He was found to be in possession of images including babies and toddlers being sexually abused.

I think the comment above is abusive. You don’t even know this person so don’t judge people by what is written in papers. There is alot more to this person than what that say’s.He is kind caring & never hurt anyone physically let alone a child.Computers suck you in.Chat rooms first then other things.
