Manufacturers of the Kent oil column heater are recalling the product as a fault in the spot-welded rivets could potentially cause oil to leak out.
The recall is listed on Consumer.org.nz which says the Kent five fin oil column heater, with the model number KPE216-060 and the Kent nine fin oil column heater with timer, with model number KPE216-063, are being recalled.

These products were sold at The Warehouse from February 1 to July 3.
People are being advised to stop using the heater immediately and return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
Call 0800 422 274 for more information.
