Police search in progress on North Shore

A Police Search and Rescue team is in the North Shore suburb of Torbay where a 44-year-old male has been reported missing.

The search commenced at 3pm on Wednesday.

Jason Mark Overend has not been sighted since he disappeared from his Torbay home at 9.45pm on Monday July 2.

Police have concerns for his welfare and his well-being.

A description of the missing man has been released.

 

•           Jason Mark OVEREND:

•           European Male

•           DOB 1 / 11 / 1967

•           Resident of Torbay:

•           Height 180 cm

•           Medium Build

•           Clothing – Dark grey Fleece long pants, Dark coloured Fleece jacket, 

Dark grey baggie beanie, - he could be wearing footwear comprising of white sneakers with a stripe.

•           Black Hair with black goatee about 8 cm in length

•           Has a scar on his right wrist from surgery

 

Mr Overend is likely to be feeling disorientated, distracted, and worried.

Anyone sighting this man is urged to call the North Shore Police immediately on 09 477 5000.
