The Tauranga Stamp Club is celebrating its 50th jubilee and is inviting members of the public to join them at Classic Flyers this afternoon.

The club will have a presentation of Tauranga’s history illustrated with post cards from Lawrence Eagle.

Dave is encouraging people to head along to Classic Flyers to learn about Tauranga’s history.

On Saturday, the club held an exhibition of stamps at the Baycourt Theatre and had around 100 peeople come and view the exhbitions.

Organiser Dave Wreaks says the exhibition was well supported and he hopes today’s event will be the same.

People are being invitied to join the club at Classic Flyers from 1pm-3pm.

Dave says its a good way for people to see Tauranga’s history and enjoy a cup of tea at the same time.
