Welcome Bay Primary School students compete in the school’s cross country day.
School sports coordinator Ariana Daniel says the day went well with everyone enjoying their time exercising outside.
“It’s an annual event that we hold around the same time every year. We are very lucky to be able to use Waipuna Park.”
The school students were joined by children from Welcome Bay Top Kids.
Students will now compete against other school students from Tauranga before the top students from Year 4, 5, and 6 will go onto to compete in the WBOP Championships in Rotorua.
