The victim was found with minor stab wounds by a member of the public in Central Parade and was transported to Tauranga Hospital in a stable condition.

Detective Sergeant Daryl Brazier says police believe the stabbing was a domestic related incident between two family members.

Hunter was arrested a day after the alleged attack and charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

He appeared before a registrar in the Tauranga District Court, where he was committed to trial in the high court on July 26.

Is this how families resolve their personal issues these days? How pathetic that as a society, we allow this mindset to develop. The 4 million people who are in fact New Zealand, should DEMAND those they EMPLOY TO maintain control, do their damn job and make it so that morons like this "alleged scumbag" don’t think there is nothing to fear from their actions!

What a winner...

... good to see by this photo he is showing remorse for his actions?!? He should not be allowed to wear red to court either, It might as well be a patch!
