Pity about this National Government – they started off quite well but have now shot themselves in the foot. Firstly they have voted themselves Perks for Life. In the same week they raised the cost of prescriptions to $5. Now when you are healthy and wealthy this is of course a pittance.
However when you are old and need numerous medications it becomes just an added burden. Another thing in the same week Support Net has cut my hours from two and a half a week to one hour a fortnight. This is an insult!
Really National can’t you do better than that? Permanent Perks for politicians paid for by penalising pensioners. Not a good look.
We now have a true blue Tory Government – “to those who have shall be given and from those who have not shall be taken away.”
