With the spate of murders, assaults, over the past 20 years or so in New Zealand, I and many other folk would recommend bringing back Capital Punishment with our burgeoning human population now over seven billion, it is simple maths to know that more people equals more crime. Prisons worldwide are full of criminals amounting to hundreds of thousands and many for murder one. They are a liability to taxpayers, who keep them housed, clothed and fed, along with the huge number of prison staff etc, and building’s maintenance. How often have recidivists committed another crime of murder or murders when they are released?
Most judges are too soft with decisions. DNA, fingerprints and admissions by the accused are proof for Capital Punishment.
