Police search for child’s parents

Porirua Police are currently trying to find the parents of an intellectually disabled boy who was found at the Mungavin Avenue Netball Courts at 9am.

Police say he is a six or seven-year-old boy, possible middle eastern and is wearing a black t-shirt, blue trackpants and no footwear.

He is unable to communicate his name to the Police, and is currently being cared for at the Porirua Police Station.

Anyone knowing the identity of the child or his parents, is asked to contact the Porirua Police on 04 2381400.
