Pongakawa resident Jeananne Ward says she is looking forward to installing the $2500 shower package she won from Premier Showers.
“I was quite amazed – I’ve never won anything in my life before. We’re already planning a bit of renovation for the shower.”
Bethlehem’s Phill Berry says winning a $5000 double-glazing package from the Energy Savings Centre was ideal for his family who have just bought an old house.
“It’s perfect, especially with the little ones. It’s great to keep them all snug and help keep the coughs and colds at bay.”
Ayleen Walker of Omokoroa is “very excited” about winning a $8000 laundry renovation package sponsored jointly by More Than Kitchens, Bay Betta Electrical, Armstrong Plumbing, Smith & Sons, Smart Sparx Electrical and Flooring Direct.
Judith Zurcher of Paeroa is looking forward to spoiling herself a little with a cruise or some travel after winning $5000 from ANZ.
“It’s lovely. I can do something special rather than just paying the bills and making ends meet.”
The Tauranga Home Show organiser Graeme Martin says it is great to treat a few of the show visitors to the major prizes.
Graeme says this year’s show was a major success, attracting the record number of 10,400 visitors – 900 more than the previous record.
“All and all it was a huge success and TECT Arena proved itself to be a fantastic facility for the show. We are already planning more shows to make the most of the great venue.”
