Tauranga rugby player and top performing flanker Tanerau Latimer has today re-signed with the Chiefs for another two seasons of Super Rugby.
The ex-Tauranga Boys’ College student and former All Black has signed with the Chiefs franchise until 2014.

Tanerau Latimer has resigned with the Chiefs until 2014.
The 26-year-old, who has his first child on the way, is thrilled with the decision.
“I am a Chiefs player through and through.
“I love the region, the team and can think of no better place to raise a family than New Zealand.”
Chiefs coach Dave Rennie says the team is “really wrapped” with Tanerau’s re-signing.
“He is a top man, with exceptional work ethic and has a positive influence on our team as part of our leadership group.
“He epitomises everything we want in a Chiefs player.”
The Chiefs will play the Lions in Auckland on Saturday at 7.35pm.
