A motorist is in Tauranga Hospital after being involved in a three car crash on Chadwick Road in Greerton.
The crash occurred at about 4.45pm with the first car, a hatchback, smashing into a power pole.
Three cars have crashed on Chadwick Road in Greerton.
Two other cars – a black ute and vehicle described as a RAV by a caller to the 0800 SUNLIVE hotline – crashed into the hatchback.
At least one motorist was injured in the crash and was taken by St John Ambulance staff to hospital.
Cars are being detoured from Chadwick Road onto Mansels Road.

cant blame the sunstrike that usually hits chadwick road at that time of day in the winter. may be it was the rain.........
