Police are asking people for information about a stolen red Massey Ferguson ride-on mower.
The mower was taken from Piako Tractors on Te Ngae Road in Rotorua on Tuesday night.

The mower is the same make, model and colour as the attached picture taken from a catalogue. Photo: Supplied.
Acting senior sergeant Mike Membery says the mower was taken some time between 6pm on Tuesday evening and 6.40am on Wednesday morning.
“This is a sizeable piece of equipment and Piako Tractors is in a high-profile location on Te Ngae Rd, so there is a high chance someone saw the mower being taken that night.
“Up to three people may have been needed to move or carry the mower and this activity may have looked extremely suspicious.”
People with information about the theft or who may know where the mower is, are being asked to contact Rotorua Police on 07 348 0099.
Alternatively, they can provide information anonymously via the independent Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111.

Did they cut and run? maybe someone who knows what happened will grass on them. These lawnmower thieves will never amount to mulch. The cops might get them if they use the catcher.
