A concrete spill is causing delays in the Tauranga CBD as concrete has been spilt on the road.
A caller to the 0800 SUNLIVE news hotline says it is on 1st Ave heading on to Cameron Road towards Elizabeth Street.
"The area is being coned off."

With a good knowledge of mixing -batching trucking concrete thousands of cubes of this stuff, this is headed to a concrete pump, i would expect and about or between 90- 120 slump,the reason behind this is, the bowl is not turning fast enough to keep the slops inside,this happened to me yrs ago,it was a mess when a car pulled out in front of me, the bowl stopped and it spilled out the back, WHOOPS, anyway learn from this,its a bugger to clean up in this weather,10-4 out, phew.
