Police are appealing for information about a woman who was last seen leaving her Hamilton home on December 4.

Elenoa Phillips, 48, was reported missing to police on Monday January 8.

"She was last seen leaving her home address in Hamilton on Thursday 4 December 2017 at about 10pm, driving a grey Toyota Camry," police say in a statement released today.

"She had told her flatmate that she was going to meet family however she failed to return home.

"Police have concerns for her safety and well-being as she has not been in contact with her family or friends since she was last seen."
